Introduction to Proposal Writing

Get an overview on how to draft a basic grant proposal.

This workshop will cover the component parts that make up the grant proposal specifically the narrative and the budget. Topics covered include:

  • What written parts to include in a proposal
  • How to use the Logic Model as a framework for writing the Narrative portion of a grant proposal
  • How to construct a grant budget that tells a compelling story and shows the true cost to a potential grant funder
  • Where to find grants and how to evaluate them
