Better Toledo | Your Voice, Your Run: Panel Discussion
Moderated by Lucas Camuso Stall

Main Library
Meeting Room 1 (Large Glass), 1st FloorRunning for public office can feel like a daunting task. You might be asking yourself: Am I ready? How do I begin? Where can I find resources?
For those considering (informally or seriously) a run for public office, our panelists, Lucas County Commissioner Lisa Sobecki and Ohio Representative Josh Williams, will share their personal experiences and reflections on running a successful political campaign. The panelists will give attendees insights on the “dos and don’ts” and what to expect along the way. We will also review tools from the Library that all community members can engage with to help them in their political journey.
Democracies flourish when we create greater access to helpful civic resources. If your neighborhood can be improved through public service - then what are you waiting for? Run!
