The Fred H. McDonald Community Room (Capacity : 30), Garage LevelThinking about starting, buying or expanding your new business? Business Basics is a seminar that will take the confusion out of your efforts and help you avoid costly mistakes or unnecessary steps.
What you will learn:
A certified business advisor will walk you through the business planning process (including the financial section) and provide information on business entities and identifying your market niche, You'll also receive in-depth information on compliance issues a such as taxes, deductions and employees. A section of this important workshop is dedicated to various funding programs and incentives.
What you will receive:
Attendees receive access to the Small Business Development Center's free one-on-one business consulting service. Building on what you've learned through this seminar, our staff of consultants - former business owners themselves - can provide additional guidance as you start or grow your business venture. The Business Basics Course is free, but reservations MUST BE made in advance to attend this seminar.
