Bestselling authors Jo Segura and Julie Soto will chat romance, publishing, and how to write swoon-worthy love interests. Participant Q&A to follow.
At each program, authors will speak, followed by a question and answer session. This event is free, but ticketed. A seat-filler line will occur the day of the program to ensure a full house. Ticketed seats will be held until 5 minutes before start time, at which time they will be released. Book signing will occur after the program at a designated time in the library's atrium. ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Jo Segura is a USA Today bestselling author of adventure romcoms and contemporary romance. Her stories feature strong, passionate heroines and the swoon-worthy heroes who love them. Jo’s books draw upon aspects of her life, such as her Mexican heritage and her fascination with archaeology, which inspired her debut romcom, Raiders of the Lost Heart, published December 2023 by Berkley Romance. Her second novel, Temple of Swoon, will be published in January 2025. Now living in the Pacific Northwest, Jo is a Toledo native and the Toledo Library will always hold a special place in her heart.

Julie Soto is a USA Today bestselling author, playwright, and actress originally from Sacramento, CA. Her musical Generation Me won the 2017 New York Musical Festival’s Best Musical award, as well as Best Book for her script. She is a musical theater geek, fandom nerd, and the author of many spicy fan fictions. Julie now lives in Fort Bragg, CA, with her dog, Charlie. She is probably drinking coffee as you read this.

Accessibility Details: Located on the second floor, accessed by elevator and/or stairs. All doors will feature an automatic function or be propped prior to program start. Tile or low pile carpet throughout the building. Limited free parking is available in the attached garage.
