This presentation focuses on SIDS prevention and Car Seat Laws. A drawing for a free infant sleep safety kit, including a Pack N’ Play, will be held for those who complete the class.

SIDS/SUID is the leading cause of death for infants ages 1 month -1 year of age. Learn the risk factors associated with SIDS and other sleep related deaths and injuries, risk reduction methods, and the risks associated with devices such as car seats and swings.

Melissa Hallenbeck, who is a registered Child Passenger Safety Technician and Health Educator, will be hosting a brief review of the laws under the Ohio Revised Code and completing a Car Seat Q &A session.

This program is part of the Grandparent Project Series. Pizza dinner and Pack N' Play have been generously donated by the Pat Miller Foundation.
