Main Library has some exciting plans for the future - and we want your input! Your Library is an institution that evolves and changes to fit the needs of the population it serves, and Main Library is primed for a dynamic update and innovative renovation.
Our goal is to use the 6 months before construction begins to engage customers, community leaders and organizations and work together on how to make this project as seamless and customer-conscious as possible. We don’t want to rush these conversations, and see this is an opportunity to initiate some important community and civic discussions.
In all of our efforts we seek to build an organizational culture that is welcoming, innovative, objective, accountable, and collaborative. In this spirit, as we continue planning for the renovation of Main Library, we hope all members of the community will take part in the conversation and process by attending the following community forums:
