Nature Photography
Bill, who resides in Monclova Township, is a retired teacher from Penta
Career Center who has discovered a flair for nature photography. Most of his
photos on display are of flora and fauna found in area parks, gardens, and
fields. His wife, Rochelle Fleming, who has a background in art and is a
retired gardener from the Toledo Zoo, has provided him with great support
and subject matter as he pursues his passion for photography.
Bill has learned to have his camera with him wherever he goes as “you never
know when something may catch your eye and that image could change in
an instant or soon become one that is out of sight out of mind.”
Prints on display were taken with a Fuji FinePix camera. Up to this point, all
of Bill’s photos are of the “point and shoot” variety taken on local car trips,
walks, hikes, and bike rides.
Bill rarely purchases greeting cards anymore, as his family and friends find
his photo note cards more interesting and personalized than the “Hallmark”
variety. He welcomes comments in the journal on the table in
the gallery or via e-mail at btski@roadrunner.com.
