River Road Garden Club presents Summer Sizzle: A Standard Flower Show featuring floral design, horticulture, and educational and children's exhibits.

"For every empty lot, a garden spot."

River Road Garden Club is the oldest established club in the Garden Club Forum of the Toledo District Inc. which was founded in 1928.  They are also affiliated with the Garden Club of Ohio Inc., The National Council of State Garden Clubs Inc., and The Nature Conservatory. 

Their purpose is to:

  • Promote interest in and increase knowledge of horticulture and related activities by its mentors
  • Promote beautification, conservation, and prudent use of natural resources
  • Encourage the development of home gardening and floral design skills
  • Sponsor such other activities as might properly come within the scope of garden clubs
