Create music through exploration and express yourself with visual art at the same time! For kids who love a new way to create!
Come and learn the latest way to create music and art using all types of sounds and art. This is a 2-day workshop for kids who love to create something different and exciting while creating visual art. Ben Cohen and Yusuf Lateef will lead the workshop with exploration and composition using various forms of digital media, recorded music, and "found sound". Creators will also delve into the Japanese art technique of Suminagashi, also known as water paper marbling. Participants who complete the workshop are eligible for tickets to Toledo Museum of Art's musical guest, JLin, performing on Thursday, Feb. 20th, 8:00 PM in the GlasSalon. This is a collaborative program with Toledo Museum of Art and Toledo Lucas County Public Library.
