An artful photographic display of the anthropology and global style of the headwrapping!
Headwrapping is an art and expression of choice for millions of people across the globe. From Africa to Bulgaria, from Ohio to Dubai, headwraps adorn men and women from a variety of cultures. From January 15 to February 12, the Art Tatum African American Resource Center with the Toledo (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will host "Beautifully Wrapped" a national traveling exhibit curated by Zarinah El-Amin Naeem that shares the history and culture of headwrapping. The exhibit features more than two dozen colorful photos of people around the world wearing headwraps.
