Main Library is home to a remarkable display of glass mosaic murals called Vitrolite, a popular product of the Libbey Owens Ford Company in the 1930 and 1940s.  With your phone and ear buds, make your first stop of the tour in the Central Court and then continue the tour to the Children’s Library.  You will gain a greater appreciation for the design, installation, and preservation of this unique glass and understand why people visit Main Library from all over the world.
