This workshop will focus on the science behind beauty products. It will start with a movie about African American women in science, followed by lunch and STEM workshops. Registration is requested.

This workshop will focus on the science behind beauty products.  The STEM workshops will look at how beauty products such as lip gloss and hand sanitizer, and the impact technology and media messages can have on the beauty industry and on the consumer. 

The timeline is as follows:

11:00:  Hidden Figures movie
12:15:  Lunch
1:00-3:00:  STEM Workshops
