Watercolor Art by Andy Stearns

Sanger Library will be featuring watercolor art by Andy Stearns throughout the month of March.

Andrew J. Stearns lives in Toledo, Ohio. He has been creative from a very early age, working a multitude of medias.  Shortly after graduating from high school, he started working for a local typesetter, where he got a taste of the graphic arts industry. After a year and a half he landed a position in his first ad agency, his dream job.  He started out as a production artist and entered into a very complex industry.  After forty years as a graphic artist/designer, he retired.  Always very interested in watercolor, he decided to put his energy in the fine arts again.  For the past two years, he has done commission work along with portraits, landscapes, and anything else he finds interesting.  Entering in local shows, much to his surprise he has won a few awards. He enjoys the challenges of watercolor and always looks forward to his next inspiration.
