Welcome to the eco-printing workshop, where we’ll embark on a creative journey into fabric art. Discover the fascinating process of extracting vibrant hues from flowers, fruits, and other natural elements.
Throughout the session, artist and instructor McKayla Lange will cover topics such as plant choices, the nuances between mordants and modifiers, and various bundling methods. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to experiment and create using cotton fabric and natural dye materials, taking home samples of their creative endeavors.

While materials will be provided, participants are welcome to bring their own dye matter, such as flowers, leaves, fruits, etc.
This workshop is intended to be part of Adult Programs, but the material would be appropriate for teens with a general interest in naturally dyed fabric art. Beginners with no previous experience are welcome!
