Visible Mending is an artistic approach to repairing clothes where the fixes are intentionally made noticeable. Small samples of fabric that need a mend, and all supplies, will be provided.
Students will go home with their sample, a supply of sashiko thread and a sashiko needle, a 4.5”x5.5” piece of water soluble grid paper to use in future projects, and a handout with different techniques and designs to try later.
